Were there no threads more deserving of your sixth post?

Ahem. It appears that you are advertising various sites with each post that you make. Please don't do that any more, ta.

No website-plugging sigs please.

Oh, and I note that you share an identical IP address with another poster called varybarry who's also very partial to pithy one line posts. Are you, perchance, related?

Loving MPW. I didn't know much about him before, but his calm, but steely (yay, he's a surly northerner!) attitude is a lot scarier than Ramsay ever was. I do miss Ramsay's maitre D. Was he called John Philippe? MPW's one doesn't have that french charisma that he had.

Really pleased that Angus Deyton is still presenting. I love his dry sarky wit

Bit worried after tonight about Jim Davidsons potential prejudice about Brian though. He said "Are you one of us" and Brian thought he meant he was asking was he one of the team :( Mind you the editors may have been making a 'thing' about it because that's what we've come to expect from Davidson.

Davidson was (unintentionally) vaguely amusing last night when he said he's been looking back on his life and realised it's all been crap. He was serious, but i was imagining a million people shouting at their tellys saying 'bloody too right you wankah" :D

I think he knew exactly what JD was trying to get at but wasnt going to rise to it and give him the reaction he wanted. I think he did really well by turning it back on him... why wouldnt I be?? ( come on then jimbo, voice your inner prejudice.... go on, if you dare...)

it's a shame Brian isn't more switched onto Davidson cos he could get him to hang himself out to dry

I enjoyed last nights, I agree that his maitre'd isn't a patch on Ramsays but maybe he'll improve with the show?

and as for MPW, jesus, he's still gorgeous :o

Jean-Baptiste, I'm not too sure?

Loving Deaton though.

I agree with the poster that said it's a shame its celebs.

I've fucking had enough of celebrity this that and t'other. Real people that can't cook would be so much better. I'm sure all the "slebs" can afford cooking lessons if they eally wanted it.

they're still REAL people...not just *paid a fortune* celebs....and so far, i've been happy watching them(with the exception of the cringing when davidson(never DID like him) did his zippy from rainbow voice)

i'm quite impressed with the 2 "bimbo's"....adele and what's her face, the model scouser...they're coming across a lot better than i thought they(especially adele) might...they're also proving to be a lot tougher than i'd expected them to be aswell. unlike paul "i'm a musician, i don't get UP at this time" young, who's done nowt but fecking moan

so far so good though, for me

I thought Paul Young was Matthew Kelly when we first saw a glimpse of him on screen.

Kelly LeBrock! Only her voice ties her to my 'Weird Science' memories now :(

Okay where the fuck do they get these celebs from. None of them can cook an omlete and none of the can do a steak but they somehow manage to do a full service on the first night (with help). Both are frigging easy. Something don't add up.

Either they are really crap and they got shit loads of help for the service or they are hamming up how bad they are on the day test.

I'm sorry, but Marco's on a pisstake here, this is a real take the money and run job. To me he looks like he doesn't give a monkeys - making a big deal about using stock cubes, sitting on a workbench (!) idly gazing around, casually informing his celebrity crew how to disguise burnt or bad food. Bah, this isn't the MPW every chef I know used to idolise.
The first Hells Kitchen was great because Ramsey cared way too much, and simply would not allow standards to slip. The friction made great tv. Watch his non-celeb US Hells Kitchen with people who are desperate to succeed- that's how you do this show.
On the plus side the customer being told to get lost was good, and I enjoyed his "who's the beast?" aside about Carole Thatcher.
Lee Ryan's walked btw. I might do an *oddsflash!* in a minute. :D

I like Marco; but Angus is a failed ex-satire show host. I'm unimpressed by t'Deayton :(

Yeah heard it all before and he isn't even that scathing any more.

MRW is so magnificent, and I dont blame any of the girls for having a crush on him.

Hes like Lord Byron

Trading on past glories imo Cheesy, but dig out an old copy of "White Heat" for all your Byronic fantasies - you'll love it. ;)

That was the husband of someone at work. You can imagine that she's never, ever going to hear the end of it. :D

Why were the Hamiltons sat with a Marilyn Monroe impersonator?
Did I miss something?

Who was the girl talking about Marco's intimdating glare? She was gorgous.

Ahhhh...*cross-pollenation alert*...

On Holly & Fearne Go Dating tonight...they sent the girl and her "dates" to Hell's Kitchen :D
