Heathrow to Upminster for just £1.50

    I know if I go to Edmonton and change at Liverpool Street it costs me more because I go out the barriers and come back in again which seems a bit mean but makes sense.

    I've also been charged as if I went through zone 1 when coming back from Kilburn even though the quickest route (North London line) doesn't go through Zone 1. It all seems a bit of a mess sometimes .

    That sounds horrible. Step free routes are such a pain in the arse that we often just decide to drag the pushchair up flights of stairs rather than go twice as far or get off early and walk. Must be many times worse for those who don't have that choice.

    Well, it's not like we've got much in the way of public transport to use, anyway. Round here, you need a fucking calendar to plan your bus journeys, not a watch...

    A380 How do I change this 'custom title' thing then?

    Watched one of Geoff’s old videos* and apparently you can make free Oyster or contactless journeys around the Heathrow terminals. You need a card to get in and out, but there is no cost. I didn’t know this.
