I used to listen to a lot of Metal but I tend to listen to Country now.

I guess that means my tastes have mellowed.

Things have changed in that I do seek out new music less these days... in fact I'm not sure how I find any at all! I think these days a lot of the time I read about people, and if I think I might like them from the description ('uncategorisable' = good, 'delicious summery melodic pop' = not my thing) then I go listen to them in Disque on Chapel Market (cos I like them) or on myspace/whatever the band website is.

I buy far fewer albums, although I was never prolific - sharing a place, I don't have music on as constantly. On my own I would never be in my bedroom without some music on, but that's not the case now.

I've never 'stopped liking' anyone I like before - the worst that can happen for a band is I lose/break my copy of the album and can't be arsed to replace it - I just build on what I have.

I'm listening to Surgeon now so I couldn't really say mellower.
