both named by my kids


I was going to call the Specialized Miss Diane

No. A bike is a 'thing' after all. It's just like people naming their guitar and refering to it as 'her'. Makes me wanna vomit.
However, when I want to race a mate I say something like 'let's ride the Peugeot'.

A friend has 6 and about to buy her 7th (but only 5 will be stored at home). She'll be buying a super fast road bike - she already has a road bike but the reason for another is that it's not fast enough!
