Have you ever chucked an item for no longer being fashionable?

Have you ever owned an item and actually got rid of it because you feared looking hopelessly out-of-date by wearing it?

One of the advantages for me of being totally unfashionable is never feeling the need to do that, though I've definitely chucked some things because honestly they were a bit shit in the first place and I only wore them a few times when no one was likely to see me in order to get my money's worth (eg, patchwork elasticated festival trousers  )

I'm more likely to ditch an item because it's become fashionable.
I'm then concerned that people might think I'm wearing something because I'm some saddo fashion victim.

Although I'm glad beards are back and have stayed back despite people writing an articles every six months trying tell people they are 'out' again and failing to convince.

Yes, but not cos it was no longer fashionable, but just that I was no longer the person who would wear that thing.
Never really wanted to wear 'fashionable' clothes, just stylish ones.

    No.
It's been tight jeans and t-shirts from about 12 all the way down. Nothing ever changed.

If you buy clobber to be fashionable you are a fucking idiot, fashions and fads pass super quickly and the older you get the more ridiculous you look in them.

I have, but I'm too fat for it. But it was mint, and I shall wear it again if I shed enough lard.

There's loads of things I wore as a teenager/young adult that I wouldn't wear now - ripped jeans, band t-shirts etc.
