Have you crowd surfed?

Yes.

Stage diving is better, although I did stop that for a bit after getting cracked by an 'artist' wearing knuckle-dusters once. I had to be sewn back up after that.

These days it depends who is playing & how pissed I am. Jumping around at the front does me in so I tend to stand at the back & nip down sometime towards the end. Rock n roll.

you dance

oh the good ol days when I were a seasoned stage diver... so many bands, such fun - Nirvana, Rollins, All, Jawbreaker, Fugazi, ahhh too many but I think I got at least one dive in at each of my Amerrrcan hardcore faves' gigs.

My personal record number of stagedives and crowd surfs must have been at a Sultans of Ping gig in Southampton in the early nineties. I couldn't get enough of it and must have done about 20 - as did everyone else in the room....

The most amusing incident however was when a friend of mine got up on the stage to do a dive but was intercepted by whatsisname (Niall?) who was wearing very little at the time (as was quite common). He shoved his finger up his arsehole and then shoved his finger up my friend's nostril.

My friend was horrified and spent the rest of the gig washing out his nose in the toilet.

Far too sensible to stagedive these days mind... and not particularly keen on other fat bastards landing on my head these days either.
