Hats, do you?

</tries not to laugh>

:hmm:

Can we have one minus the aviator shades I feel they are detracting from the hat in question.

:D

;)

The shades are a part of the look. Along with the boots and the shorts. Then I just realised that I'm wearing them indoors, which is shit.

Is it making a dangerous statement? Like "please hit me in the face"?

No , well not erm really ......

Even if it is I'm sure you can handle yourself ;)

I think the real proof is in asking Bob Marley's Dad Junior - she's bound to have an upto date yoof opnion.

I think its quite becoming but then again I can't see your knees in those shorts. :( :D

I hate hats
Massively irritating, inconvenient, hair-screwing-up bastards.
They are acceptable for keeping one's head warm, or for hiding behind.
But not for posing. Oh no.
Except stovepipes. Anyone who's got the balls to wear a stovepipe (ideally broken) I might give props to.
Otherwise maximum "MEH".

what's the name of that dude that had himself crucified as a "work of art" in thailand or somewhere? lives in soho, thinks himself as some sort of eccentric? i saw him strading down old compton street a while ago with a VERY tall tophat on. fantastically stupid

Great hattage Iam. The tank hat is really warm VP and quite a 'snug' fit. I like it more and more though. :)

I only wear hats in the winter these days and I love my faithful old knitted cloche with a flower on the side but back in the seventies me and my friends dressed in 40's/50's style and had a fab collection of hats including the classic pill-box. Though they were more affordable back then as you could easily buy them in charity shops or at various flea markets in London. This was long before we had over-priced 'vintage' shops popping up everywhere.

And of course, the legendary Biba catered for our hat needs very well.
