Has your pet got weird hates/obsessions?

My lizziecat will only drink from a pint glass next to the loo-as she is a persian with huge flat face, it hs to be topped up constantly. She is fine with dogs and most other cats, just chases them but one cat who sits on our windowsill makes her throw herself repeatedly against the window through the curtains and then has to be pulled free as her claws get stuck and she is utterly utterly terrified of mops.
Yours?

Our eldest cat will only drink from our pint glass by the side of the bed...

We caught one of our cats peeing down the plug hole of the bath the other day!

I wish my cat would do that!

Radar the cat is obsessed with bare feet and running water. If he hears you turn on a tap he will thunder down the corridor and leap onto the edge of the sink so he can stick his paws under the tap and make everything wet. And no plastic bag is safe from him. Oh and he steals broccoli.

He hates it when post comes through the letterbox, it's the only thing that makes his tail go bog-brush.

Sonic the kitten is obsessed with jewellery, if he can steal it he will hide it in the bed while I'm asleep. There's nothing quite like waking up with a large clip-on earring embedded into your hip.

He is scared of groceries. When we come in with shopping it is fun because Sonic puffs up and runs away and Radar leaps into the bags and starts shredding.

when mousehole was a kitten she used to sit on the dog and chew her fur. she regularly used to chew sticky tape as well. the dog used to eat the cat poo off the cat tray.

now the cat is an outside cat she seems to have less hang ups. though she still doesn't like plastic bags. she used to hate balloons too, but now if i hit her with one a couple of time she just gives me that look that cats do that says, "I will remember this moment with glee when I am next tearing your arms off"

Our cat tries to keep his eating area really neat and clean but does it by putting 'rubbish' (anything on the floor) in the 'bin' (his food bowl). After putting anything from the kitchen floor that hasn't been swept up into his food bowl he then does this strange little dance where he stretches right out at the front and scratches the floor all around with his front paws, almost like he's stroking the floor. At first we thought he was stupid and was going to poo or wee near his food (as he was stupid enough to try eating litter from the tray thinking it was cat biscuits!) but it's not the same as scratching when he's in his tray. It's very sweet to watch but rather disturbing for people who don't know what he's doing. I think it might be something to do with the scent glands in his paws, and trying to mark his food territory from other beasts. Other than that he's relatively normal, but very slutty when it comes to the neighbours, we caught him jumping up on the back garden wall yesterday and prancing up and down while the new people next door gave him loads of attention, yet if anyone comes up to him in the street at the front of the house he pegs it inside and starts going mental.
