Yeah, 'Soldier Blue', not a film I'd fancy seeing again.
There have been lots of versions of it out, so you probably saw a very cut version for TV.

I'm ok with gore/violence on screen but what did make me feel queasy is the pie eating contest scene in Stand By Me where they all start to vomit.

that old guy that shouts 'ass to ass' makes me giggle.
I have seen that film about 12 times.
Worked in a cinema for a while and this film just ran and ran. My shift supervisor did not like me and knew I did not like this film.
A few times I ended up watching it 2/3 times a week which was a horror show. I found myself sitting at the back with my eyes closed and knowing a lot of dialogue off by heart
