wonder if Dershowitz ever paid that $10,000 to the PLO? they sure could use it now.

I followed the Dersho-Finkel wars with interest. Near the end of last year Channel 4 (at least I think it was) showed part of a "live" (live in a tv studio that is) debate between the two of them (part of that programme about holocaust reparations and how the WJC etc keep forgetting to pass the money and property to the rightful owners). Dersho did his usual bombastic showboating lawyer schtick and the Finkmeister filleted him like a salmon, reminded him that many of his "facts" were actually fiction, and stayed calm and rational throughout.

T'was quite beautiful!

Virginia Judge TS Ellis on Friday allowed the defense to summon Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to testify in the trial of two former AIPAC officials accused of disclosing classified information.
A source in the State Department told Haaretz a few days ago that if she were summoned, Rice would decline to appear in court.
