If people are interested, we can have a look at the Markfield Beam Engine on the way past, as by lucky chance it's one open day this month is the day we'll be there!

I might or might not make this. I should be going on the mural walk on Saturday, after which Jeff wants to show me the delights of his new area, which probably means we'll end up getting legless and I'll pass out at his place. So I'll have to see how healthy I'm feeling come Sunday.

As well as having to be at a planning meeting this morning, for a course I'm doing in the summer, when I got in late last night, we discovered the fridge has stopped working. So I've got to run around trying to sort something out, early this afternoon, instead of coming on the walk.

If you guys are still up for coming for a row, if you call me when you are setting off, I'll give you directions, it's very easy.

Bumpty bump!

Having such a good weekend. Recharging my camera after yesterday's mural walk followed by excellent beach party on the Royal Festival Hall foreshaw.

Weather today actually looks even better than yesterday. Really looking forward to this leisurely river stroll and drinks.

Ended up in a state of mild confusion due to high beer/sunshine intake. Did everyone just get the bus or something at Tottenham Hale station?

Anyway a very pleasant walk, nice meeting everyone and a good choice of pub at the end of the walk too.
