aggressively? What are they trying to punch you as they cycle by?

There's one old git who always seems to deliberately miss me by 2 or 3 inches at quite a pace on our local canal towpath. That's what I call aggressive. I think he does it for fun, tbh. I might feint a sidestep towards him next time, specially if he's canal-side

As a cyclist who cycles along canals, I have to agree that some other cyclists are way too agressive.

When passing in opposite directions on a narrow stretch, I at least try and slow down, many others just seem to be happy to whizz past me at top speed, even though there's only like 1 inch between the handle bars.

Sometimes I daydream about going out for a ride in full body armour and 'accidently' doing a tiny wobble at the crucial moment and see if that doesn't teach them some manners in the future.

Also, cyclists who run through red lights just get on my nerves (as if the bike zones at the front of the queue isn't enough and they can make up their own rules coz they're so special... twats), one of my mates did this right in front of a police car and got a £30 fine

More of the same please (alas, lack of reg plates means that CCTV is hard to employ against light-jumping cyclists.... ).

Why is this thread far more posted than my harassment suffered by motorists thread? There is no fuckin way in the world that car drivers or pedestrians suffer as much crap as a cyclist. As an example: I'm coming down the inside of a long traffic jam and a guy see's me coming in his right mirror and actually moves towards the fucking curb so I can't pass?? I mean common what's that all about?
