OK, if we really want to have a laugh/sneer at other people raving, check out the photos here: http://www.hangar-13.com/
It's terribly snobbish to pass judgment on the fine upstanding members of society that are shown here, but it's tremendous fun regardless
Nah, those aren't smiles, they're congenital mouth defects of the rictus variety.
Look at the bloke on the left, the poor love's got a dummy in. Stops his mouth from adopting a 'guppy-Max' expression, leaving his ears horribly exposed...
what tanky said. don't do it for anyone else... the place i was at tonight the dj played a bit of happy hardcore in with the shitcore breakcore chaos and the gabba metal sillyness. we all danced like gibbons.
bluestreak makes a damn good point here - you want to mix it up a bit. Sticking to Happy Hardcore is all very well but if you vary what you play it gives you much more scope and will excite your crowd more. IMHO of course.
Trance can be done well, normally when it's at the tougher end I find, as I'm sure Happy Hardcore can be (although I haven't heard much evidence recently). It's all in the mix ... err ... or something ...
