It might not be the chelsea thing MSI were looking into buying us last season maybe they arew planning on another takeover and so are parking there players there so we can have them legitimatly once the takeover is done.(tevez and macherino on a free!!!!!!:D :D)

I haven't heard the abramarich owning a stake in corinthinas thingy before anyone got a link?

dave

The Abramovich link is just unconfirmed rumours because no hack could dig up anything on Joorbachian. He's like a man without a past  ;) :D

Kranjcar to Portsmouth as well!

We could be looking at one of the most competitive premierships for a long time.

The thing I don't buy about the Abramovich parking players at West Ham rumour is that with a team as good as West Ham adding Tevez and Mascherano to their squad it would be easy to see them doing Chelsea over at home. It'll be interesting to see if there are any clauses to their loan.

Wouldn't be too hard for the players to be 'injured' for that one game would it :(

press conference announced by west ham

my hammers colleague is doing absolutely fuck all at the minute

:D

Still doesn't make sense. Why not farm them out to a club elsewhere in Europe with CL or Uefa football. Dynamo Moscow would be the obvious the one.

I doubt Pardew or West Ham would take that either without it being an explicit clause in the contract, like Rossi has at Newcastle, which in turn would raise too many questions for everyone's liking.

My bet is that MSI is controlled by a different oligarch. Maybe getting involved in football clubs is the new fashion for the galacticos of the super rich.

WHU have UEFA Cup - and it's a proving ground for their talents.

Maschareno is class for sure.

Tevez strikes me as a bit of an Anelka - talented but so full of himself he's not a team player. and as good as he's been for Corinthians, I still think he's a bit suspect. Could end up being another Denilson.

My mistake. Can't wait for the West Ham news conference. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a player signing for a club I don't support.

i'm truly baffled - am i alone in thinking this is a bad thing?

Yeah it could be a bad, but the thing is that in 2002 I was living in Argentina for a few months when Tevez was just breaking through at Boca and I remember watching some of his performances and being amazed and thinking thinking that he could dominate the premiership. So I was very surprised when he went to Corinthians and now, well...the prospect of him playing in the premiership for West Ham is staggering.

so what you are saying is "might be bad - but forget that TEVEZ IS BRILIANT!!"

doesn't this bode badly for your league?

I think you're jumping to conclusions based on very little evidence apart from a few hacks suppositions about Kia Joorbachian. Or you could just be trolling...

I can't wait to see Tevez in action, if you have a look around on youtube at some of his goals - you can definitly see him getting plenty of goals against most of the premiership teams - glad we've already played the Hammers once this season!

Hearsay. Not even proved really is it, just rumour and speculation.

thats right kanda - all of us are just jealous of the mighty Hammers pulling off this mighty coup when in fact these lads have been lifelong fans of WHU and its nothing to do with russian billionaires who own football clubs at all.

jesus, wake up and smell your fingers

Well, I don't even support West Ham. But did you know 9/11 was an inside job???!!!!

It's hearsay , rumour and speculation right now and you know it, you're just trolling.

Chorlton is not trolling, there is something happening here.

It could be Chelsea, it could be MSI, it could be the lizards BUT something smells rotten.

Post some facts then, otherwise it's hearsay/speculation blah blah....

Not disagreeing that something could be going on, but repeatedly posting as such and *OMG WHY CAN'T YOU SEE IT!!* isn't really getting anyone anywhere is it... /tinfoilhat

:D

alright, so let's put aside the conspiracies for a minute

so the argentinian team are sitting around the breakfast table during the world cup discussing what they want to do with their careers.

then what's his name who spent last season with us pipes up

"listen lads, why not try west ham. hell, they love me there. they like rebels in the east end, they're a team on the up. pardew is a good bloke, and look at the competition. arsene wenger is an annoying git, ferguson won't put up with your shit and jose, well, it'd be bloody hard work to get a good run at chelsea and those tactical notes he writes in haiku are a nightmare. besides which, loughton high road is the new king's road. you'd be fools not to."

and that's how it happened.
