Hamas leader son condemns Hamas ..

Panda: OR, ALTERNATIVELY, a different perspective. I do know the thought terrifies you Panda but not everyone tends to see things the way YOU do.

It's not a matter of differing perspectives, Rachamim, it's a matter of you having missed the point I was making, in favour of going off on one of your tired assaults on anything even remotely related to "Arabs".

Panda: "Let me see...You make a correction (how typical) on SEMANTICS concerning HAMAS and I see cause to drill home a valid point, although you at least are obviously tired of seeing me say it. Well Panda, just as you have a right to correct SEMANTICS, I have a right to offer a reminder about the nature of Islam. Is it not a wonderful world we live in?

It's odd how often one can observe you lecturing on semantics when you so often also use the claim of a poor grasp of English to excuse yourself, Rachamim. A more suspicious person than me might suspect subterfuge on your part, even duplicity.

To answer your point though, your "reminder" is based merely on your opinion, and is therefore open to criticism.
However much you attempt to put across your opinions as established facts, they are not.

Panda: Why would you EVER assume that my being less than stellar in the English language would ever have to do with my being able to regonise your blunders? I managed to attain a degree in english language university so I am more than able to carry my own weight in it even if I am not as adept as a native speaker. I even sometimes dream in it but that is rare.

As for the rest of your post, the usual...

More codswallop.

I assume nothing.

So much easier to dismiss than to elucidate, isn't it?

Panda: I understand what you say less and less.
In which case, your judgements on anything I post are, by your own admission, based on your imperfect understanding of the ideas I'm conveying.
Please bear that in mind when replying to me in the future. :)

Nino: "Is Rachamim really that thick for not realising or knowing that the
shi%$ he posts is 'codswallop'?": If you say so although as usual, your answer is neither here nor there.

Panda: "Rachamim should keep Panda's admonishment in mind in the future.": OK, thanks for letting me know!

Grandma: "Hahahah.": The usual intellectual accumen.

From the 1830s Arabs became the over whelming majority until in 1929 they EXTERMINATED the Jewish Community that had been in Gaza since the days of King David (circa 1000 BCE/BC, in other words huindreds of years before Arabs even existed as a People IN ARABIA).

Since I am sure no answer would be forthcoming forgive me if I preempt you and offer the answer myself: 1920. Arabs exterminated 2 Jewish villages. This spate of anti-Jewish violence lasted a full 16 years without a single organised response. 1920 to 1936. It BEGAN 47 years before the ALLEGED OCCUPATION. The PLO? 1964 or 65 depending which version you listen to...still before any "OCCUPATION."

I don't know that much about the history of Gaza but one quick Google search throws up arguments against this:

Jews were present in Gaza until 1929, when revisionist Zionist Betar mobs at the wailing wall incited violence, the Mufti Haj Amin El Husseini spoke out this led to riots, killing 67 Jews, and over 200 Arab Palestinians and forced the Gaza Jews to leave the area.[10] After that the British prohibited Jews from living in the Gaza area, though some Jews returned and, in 1946, established kibbutz Kfar Darom near the Egyptian border.[11]

Nino: "Rachamim is a bot created by some tosser in AIPAC.": Just too precious my little Nino since I have never even registered to vote in the US, let alone join some cockeyed lobbying entity.

Divisive: "Wikipedia.": Usually I remind people that Wki is pretty much useless as a primary source given that it was not even edited until about 18 months ago and even now is entirely consumer driven. Indeed, as I often remind folks, I myself have several entries to my credit there. Ergo, if you are not willing to take anything I say as a given, you certainly should not use Wiki as a primary. That being what it is, the entry you refer to is not particularly off just going by the blurb you posted here. It does not contradict my statements though. It says, as I said, that Gaza was home to a Jewish Community until it was exterminated (although it does not use the word "exterminate" per se) in 1929.

I do have to regress, the 67 figure offered by the Wiki is not even correct as far as just Gaza City let alone the entire Mandate. In using the word "Mandate" I am omitting Iraq and Egypt and talking about Israel, Jordan, Gaza, and the so called "WB"). My own paternal grandfather was killed in the 29 Riots, but in Hebron. Still my point was that Gaza City was home to Jews until 29, etc.

.

You're a bot. No ordinary person could spew thousands of words of meaningless drivel and blatant propaganda: most people simply don't have the time. Presumably you don't eat, sleep or excrete.

Or are retired and have plenty of employees to take care of the odds and ends. Is life not grand? If you manage to save that allowance ytou too can be like Dod Rachamim Ra'anan Ben Ami! Just do yourMinhag everyday, Bench and Daven, do your T'fillin, tallit Gadol and Katan, and marry by 16!!!Protect yourself from the Evil Eye and you too will prosper despie being a Mamzer. You remind me of the nutters who write letters in green ink to the Telegraph calling themselves "Moshe Finkelvitz" or some such thing.

Nino: I highly doubt you know every retired person on the planet so please stop with the ridiculous assumptions. Also, you need to consider, since you are apparently so obsessed with it, that SOME people are able to type faster than others. Faulting someone for offering detailed responses and/or comments is just silly.

Frog: I do not understand what you are trying to say. I can say though that you do much more than remind me of those people who defend baby killers. I would imagine to each their own, yes? By the way, you asked for proof that the group in question (in that other thread) had ever killed a small child, and I offered proof. Never heard a thing back from you except for what seems to be some sort of vague and very ineffectual insult. Wonder why?

When people's convictions are threatened they do tend to become very defencive and even set themselves up in attack mode, lashing out at many things but most of all the person who opened their eyes. Just a thought.

Panda: "Mamzer.": Mamzer does not mean "bastard" in either the actual English sense OR the idiomatic English sense of the word. A Mamzer is simply one whose birth leaves them in a grey area akin to an undersirable caste, being only permitted marriage with fellow Mamzer.

That would be a more accurate description of the word's definition but even that is wanting. Mishnah tells us that a learned Mamzer is more elevated than an unlearned Kohen (Priest). It is a classification applied towards a large demographic, or rather large demographics.

Essentially, while there are intricate legal exceptions and so forth, Mamzeroot (that is, the status of "Mamzer") is conferred to children born of adulterous relationships and/or incest. While some English speaking people apparently believe pre-martial sex to be akin to "adultery," obviously it is not. I do believe the proper English word would be "fornication" and the person taking part in it a "fornicator." Fornicators make "bastards" when giving birth but not "Mamzer" (if Jewish of course).

The word "Mamzer" means "Polluter."

I don't. Why would I? But then only a mind as simple as yours would reach such a conclusion. :p

Rachamim, I grew up among Yiddish speakers. Only an academic would use the word in any other sense than to mean "bastard", and to mean it in a derogatory sense, your semantic wriggling notwithstanding.

Panda: Hahahah, talk about semantics. I do not know whether or not you are familiar with Yiddish but if you were, or rather with Yiddish speaking Charedim, you would not use the word in that sense at all. I imagine, having some in my own family, that Yiddish speaking criminals might use the word in that sense, they do corrupt words in amazing ways, but it is an important distinction. After all, the word denotes and entire subset of Halacha (Jewish Jurisprudence).

this has been raised on another thread as being a smear .. so the 'evidence' is in the OP .. is it then true or false .. appears true to me

I happened to catch a show on Fox News  about this Masab-Joseph about a week ago. He said what the Haaretz article says. He's now found Jesus & rejects Islam & has nothing but bad stuff to say about Hamas.

I don't doubt the stuff he says about Hamas really, but when I see a Christian extremist on Fox, it makes me think he's kind of a nutball. So he's switched from an extreme nutball version of one religion to another.

Salaam & praise Jesus.

so those who alleged this was all a smear, what do you say now?

to me it shows yet again some people on the left do NOT want to believe certain things about who they wish to support.

this politically and in fact philosophically is a big mistake ..

if your dogma gets in the way of truth/reality then you need to ask yourself questions about your dogma

This is all about you; isn't it, durutti?

er no .. not in the slightest! lol maybe that is how you think but not me ..

look i have been brought up thru the 7ts seeing massacres in the middle east .. i want to see a solution .. what i see people supporting now is not a solution ..

why are you so incapable of accepting political differrence and that life is NOT black and white? why do you always look for a conspiracy instead of dealing with what is being said

.. why can you not be virulently against israeli agression and inded the whole basis of israelis zionist existance ( as i am) YET also not understand that that, that now opposes them is also part of the problem ..

in the here and now or task is to stop israeli aggression BUT we also must think one two three steps down the line and NOT allow the same mistake as israel was for the jews to happen again
