I'm with you all the way there.

I also love the charred bits if you bbq halloumi kebabs

gaijinboy tosses (oo-er) halloumi in flour, fries it and then squeezes lemon juice over it..

it's his "signature dish" *.. :D

* out of a possible 3 dishes!

Comes out fabulous in the foreman.

Stick on skewers with things like courgette, pepper, red onion. Marinade first in whatever (we used garlic, chilli, lemon, oil).

Ah, but you can't grill feta to crispy deliciousness...

You can bake it though, wrapped in foil and with a bit of thyme and olive oil drizzled over it. Lovely with simple boiled new potatoes.

Yum. Told I could only have Feta or Halloumi it would have to be Feta but I do love both.

Fried Halloumi sandwiches' verses Feta Baked Potatoes. You can't ask a man to make those kind of decisions can you?

Hmm, guess what I'll be cooking tomorrow... (as well as having vast amounts of halloumi in the fridge, we also have enormous quantities of other types of cheese as well!). Baked feta sounds fab (or face, or whatever adjectives are the parlance of our times).
