not really. north of clifden road is E5, it feels more like lower clapton. south of clifden road is E9, and homerton hospital... that is where homerton starts.

Lower Clapton is where the round Chapel is. Clapton Pond, where the pond with little bridge is. Upper Clapton is near Springfield Park and Clapton Common is just near Stamford Hill.

well, it depends on the murder - when it was named murder mile, two guys died by Clapton Pond ( the bus stop near 'now not there' Don's Cafe) One died, by Brook House sixth Form College ( so lea Bridge Road roundabout) and the other by the petrol station ( vaguely upper Clapton)

So that's murder under-a-mile or murder several yards.
