That sounds like a perfectly reasonable request.

This scam has been posted up a couple of times.

They can use the western union receipt to get the money. That's all there is to it.

Nah. The scam ads are usually obvious because it's a very low rent for a very nice place. And they won't offer to show you the place but will ask for money by some complex means.

If you place a "wanted ad", you have to expect that every scam artist will come after you.

When I get dodgy fraud emails, I always take the piss. I tell them that they should stick to jobs more suited to someone of their mental abilities, such as roadsweeping or working in McDonalds or something.

This often causes abusive replies telling me off for my prejudice and lack of respect, which is odd coming from a crook who is blatantly trying to rip me off!

I'm having to seriously reconsider what I'm looking for, it's a disgrace that a bloke who earns 25K can't afford a one bedroom flat in south london. landlordism has seriously destroyed the hopes of the working man in this city.

What zone are you looking in? I earn the same as you and didn't have any problems finding a one bed flat within my budget.
