Peaveys are good budget bass amps, they are indestructible (well I did destruct one once). I just seen you can get a little Ampeg for not much above your budget though which looks sick!! Ampeg BA-108 Bass Combo Amp, V2 at Gear4music.com

Well funnily enough just went to the local music shop and they recommended a peavy tko that they have- second hand for £50 and they are going to service my old bass so I'll be back there on pay day!

£50? that is a total bargain, def get that! peavey bass amps are the sound of pub gigs in the UK.

they are pretty hefty tho, well all the ones I've seen.
