Guitar headphones?

^ Yeah. Some fuckhead got up on stage and blew him and others away. My mate in the US organises the annual 'Ride For Dime' biker's charity motorcycle outing.

The gear you list is beyond my ken. I'm old fashioned/in the Dark Ages/Luddite. :D Guitar/amp/pedals and a 4 track. :)n I read about emulators and stuff in the guitar mags but I've never been brave enough to part with £$£$ for more sophisticated kit.

I've just joined a band again after some time. First meet next week...

...and I was offered a job in Dublin today. **sighs** Timing, eh?

It's rekindled my interst in Pantera now. Might check out some Damageplan.

yeah I do like my gadgets. Although guitar wise, try and keep it simple now. The Demonizer thing is wicked, excuse pun. Pretty much a simple piece of kit. Twin valves, some EQ controls, boost and simple compression all built in. Ideal for geting a really thick tone on tape with out upsetting the neighbours. Still like the amp modlers for some things, but prefer a simpler set up for guitar anyway. Just have me Demonizer going straight into the PC and add reverbe, sometimes delay, in their.

Ta for the tip. May check out a Demonizer when I get my first Irish pay packet. :D

If you want some more recent Pantera, I highly recommend the live album. I'd probably avoid the Great Southern Trend Kill unless you're really into them/were really into them. I'm so/so on Damageplan. I think you can get the live album for £6/7 if you shop around.

It's worth it just for the version of Cemetary Gates. :fist:

**cue mosh frenzy** :D

Ah that tune rawks. :o

Yep also waiting for a new job to start, so will replenish my metal collection then. Cheers.

For amp emulation I love Sansamps, the sound you can get out of such a tiny little DI box is pretty astonishing.

you're not sponsored by sansamps are you? :D Or is it simply love?

MULTI+EFFET+KORG+PANDORA+PX4D.JPG

Just bought one of these for 70 Knickers on the TCR
It's got good distortion effects, a headphone jack, and a drummer:cool:
You can use it to rehearse or record:cool:

I've got a Korg AX1500 with a phase trainer. Basically lets you replay a clip of recorded music at slower speeds (keeping the pitch the same) so you can practise along.
