Guess the arcade game (old-school only)

Is it Bugaboo (by Quicksilver)?

That Jet Set Willy 'crash screen' debacle; I'm all confused now and I don't even think I know anymore! I can see the screen... you walked in from the bottom left and things just went crazy. I think there were spiders hanging on threads too - I'm pretty sure it was The Bedroom but every answer seemed pretty convincing to me.
Come to think of it, there were probably tons of bugs in that game. You all get a point. ;)

Well done, its actually Bugaboo the flea, but I think everyone remembers it as Bugaboo. Its still very playable.

Now a true gaming legend, yet its not well known. This game is one of the finest games I've ever played. I never got round to finishing it, its massive. I might go back and have another bash as its such a brilliant piece of work that it deserved more recognition than it ever got.

Off the scale brilliance

Well, done!!

This game was truly a special bit of work. It got into Edge magazine 69th greatest game of the Millenium.

The massive map was generated on the fly using an algoritim given an coordinate with code for special bits like that ship. It has speech, gravity and had many ways to solve some of the massive puzzles that were there. Quite open ended and mysterious.

or Clue 2: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/hardware/image8.gif

EDIT 3 - None of the above is working, this is too freaky.

The answer was Pimania starting the Piman and Uncle Groucho. Drawn by Mel Croucher for PCW. Images (that appear at randon) above were from here I suppose you are all going to tell me that you have never heard of this now....

That rings a gigantic bell. Yup, now I've seen it I know it but - like the Kokotoni Wilf from earlier - I'd never, ever had remembered it without the prompting.

Once again, all together: "Ahh, the memories..." :D

Damn someone got rolling thunder before me. I had it on my amiga (or c64?) and played it far too much considering how repetitive it was.

This is the fantastic Moonstone! Upto four players, magic weapons and a strategy map to boot!
Also bloody hard to actually complete. Getting caught by the dragon always sucked.

IKARI warriors :)
This is one of the first games I ever owned on commodore i think.

I think someone beat me to it but Exile, one of the most amazing games ever, especially considering how old it was. Real-life physics and a massive world. I spent hours and hours in the first area alone.
And i still remember the little "monkeys" that stole stuff from you.
