Greensleeves 12"

This in ye bag yet?

If so and you MP3 it, can you send me a copy?????
PLEASE!!

Yes
I'd forgotten about it, hidden on the flip of the better known "It's Good To Have The Feeling You're The Best", haven't heard it in a good 20 years.
I'll dig it out, will fit in with a selection I'm playing soon at the Book & Record Store in West Norwood.
I'll record it for you and put up a link.

I didn't realise there were so many on the UK Bubblers sub-label
UK BUBBLERS 12"S

Of related interest:

that chorus repeated line about coming over some girls face really puts me off that track...

View attachment 185338 Turns out I have a few cuts of this now. :D Found a second Greensleeves 12” for 99p the other day too.

just checking how many are on that Riddimguide - Tunes - Playground riddim not far off there Fozzy.
Looking on that list there's a cut by glamma Kid called Big Ting - a kinda slack tune about having sex with a large bodied woman with a chorus "im thinking, about linking a big ting" etc. Ive posted this before (not on this thread i hope) but when i was hunting for the instrumental of Playground I went into Daddy Kool records with that famously grumpy guy who ran it sat behind the counter...spent what felt like half an hour browsing in an otherwise empty shop, him occasionally eyeing me up, and eventually came to the counter with Big Ting - the look of disgust he gave me still hasn't worn off :D i only bought it cos it said "version" on the back and i was hoping it would be an instrumental, but in fact it still had some Big Ting lyrics on it...pah

My most recent greensleeves pick up - good party tune - given extra life thanks to Jamrock popularity

big tune

*cant find the "Discomixes" release in the video buts its definitely the same audio as the greensleeves. 1979 btw

just remembering this one 90s Greensleeves dancehall 12 Ive got...I now know (but didnt then) its on the China Town Riddim < loads of great cuts on that.

Side A its got Frankie Paul singing Praise Him, great,

but my favourite is the B side, Turbo Belly Some See The Light, love this one. Turbo Belly has got that voice and energy that must've slayed it live. Tried to find more Turbo Belly cuts, not that many out there, though there is one LP. Laugh and Jeer is a big tune off that.
