you have to factor in preparation time - boiling kettle, 3-4 mins, letting the tea brew, 3-4 minutes, drinking the tea, 10-15 mins, so with 30 cups a day, that's an estimate of 23 minutes per cup, x 30 cups, 690 minutes, or 11 hours and 30 minutes to prepare and drink the tea, that's a big chunk of time![]()
And you'd be going to the toilet more often, too, taking up more time.

If you use a teapot you can cut a lot of that time.

Genmaicha (green tea and roasted rice) is my favourite. It's lovely!!
It definitely worth buying the more expensive green tea if you can manage it and it's best not to let it stand too long as that's what makes it bitter.
and it's nice not having to faff about with milk. Btw when you brew green/white, turn the kettle off before it boils; tastes better with below-boiling water i reckon.
rarely have caffeine anymore. Two cupoc of earl grey in the morn and thats it.
As someone who regularly used to drink 20 - 30 teas and coffees a day, cutting out caffeine was one of the best things i ever did!!
