Green Party - doing New labours dirty work

It means "struggle" .

Not on its own, but praising the actions of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah is.

So, the SWP support actions that result in the deaths of people who in no way have any influence on the governments whose policies that these "freedom fighters" are supposed to be attacking? How jolly nice to know that.

The Palestinean liberation groups are doing nothing but responding to Israeli terror. The vast majority of Israeli casualties in the region are military (unlike the vast majority of Palestinean/Lebanese deaths) and the only real time that Hamas or Hezbollah openly attacked civilians was last summer, after Israel had declared open war on Lebanon and killed over 10,000 civilians.

I don't think that policies of attacking civilians on buses or the tube gain Palestinean groups support - however they sent one the most technologically advanced militaries in the world home with it's tail dangling between it's legs using little more than fireworks.

People who are oppressed will fight back. Not always in the most progressive of ways but out of desperation. I bet the Warsaw ghettoed Jews probably killed some innocent bystanders when they threw the Nazis out. If we're to position ourselves against Hizbollah and Hamas then we are to position ourselves against the most powerful, generally progressive mass movements in the region, and alienate ourselves from the Palestinean people who rely upon them for the little protection from Israeli terror they have. Of course the Palestineans aren't equally as guilty as the Israeli state in killing civilians! And from anyone with any experience of Palestine or the Palestinean people they can only be seen as doing a noble job.

Oh man, I'm convinced, now I know for sure there is no intellectual defence of SWP theory or past contentious actions.

Stop being a fucking numpty.

There is little point in attempting to convince you about the nature of the SWP.

You`ll learn the hard way I reckon.

Sadly, unlike some of the more thoughtful SWP supporters here, your zealousness won`t be able to rationalise how the SWP works, and you`ll end up bitter and disillusioned.

Betcha ;)

PS. I suggest you reread your books on the Warsaw ghetto rising.
