Greek youths take over tv and radio

Greece has a high election turnout
In 2004 it was 75.6% and in 2007 74.14%
and conservatives were voted both times.

Unlike England where the turnouts are very low, can we blame the Greek voters for voting for electing the same government twice ?

Of course voting in legislative elections is not everything , but its something.

But you are forgetting that the far left only believe in democracy when they win. If a party they don't like wins free and fair elections they just riot, toss a few petrol bombs and say they want real democracy.
That's the sort we usually call a revolution (add 'popular' if they win) and scrap future election to make sure they keep power.
All they need to do then is execute all the fascists (Anyone that speaks out against them) and there you have pure democracy.
Or is that the fascists that do that?
Bit hard to tell them apart really.

yes but not a series of sustained daily actions against riot plod.
however harsh climate camp was (and again fair play to those who were there and withstood the pigs) there still aren't enough youth who care enough imo

e2a - there was only about 40 odd arrested iirc? not hundreds and they wouldn't be fearing a beating/gassing

see, its the greek cops use of the batons and gas that *creates* this situation. If they'd learnt a thing from british police about surveillance, containment, and de-escalation... who knows?
