I knew him actually. Guy i ran clubs with used to record with him. he bet me the rug that covered his floor that labour would get in that election when John major won and when i was proven right and won the bet i woke up the next day to find a massive great rug rolled up filling up my staircase!

s'pose it's always well tragic when folk top themselves after you know how depressed they are but don't think they'll ever go all the way. :(

still, a shitty thing to do to family & those who care about you IMO.

I loved that song when I was a kid. I was always too broke to buy it at the time, and a good few years later a mate brought me a cd of it, because she remembered how I loved it, and we had a good old dance around my living room.:D If anyone has a linky, I'd be extremely grateful.:)
 
As I write, the thread below this one is entitled 'Led Zep to reform' and the two threads seemed to work together perfectly in that order.
