Not sure why you're posting that. The prices when I wanted to travel were as stated in the OP.
Trenitalia are rip-off bastards in their own special way though, specifically selling you a ticket that says 'valid on any train between x and y' then fining you when you get on the wrong train from x to y. On one train we went on they got every single passenger in our carriage with this trick, well every single passenger except me and Mrs Frank who had already been stitched up two days earlier and weren't taking any chances. The ticket bloke seemed genuinely dismayed that we had valid tickets.
Also fuck those six people who want an entire train carriage to themselves to sit in their spinny chairs and pretend to be bond villains or some shit. Trains are for travelling, not for meetings.
