  2. Lovely- have recently bought a bit of GP art and will be combining a visit to the show and picking it up

The attention to detail in his work is phenomenal and the fact that he's made it a free exhibition is brilliant. He could have sold out galleries charging £15 a head.

One thing - the website says it can get very busy with a queuing system. It was pretty quiet when we were there but that's because we were there in the late afternoon before people finished work.

Went yesterday with the wife, absolutely fantastic.

That Battle of Britain tapestry blew me away.

Looks great. Crosses fingers and prays for cheap train tickets whilst it is on.

I went this morning (got there at 10.00 - no queue at all). Loved it all, but the tapestrys were the best thing for me, particularly Us and Them (I think) and Battle of Britain.

They could at least dust the two bikes - the pedal one was filthy the other day...

Maybe it was supposed to be filthy?

    But is it art? etc

Haha, no I went with a friend who's a specialist painter - he was annoyed that so much work had been put into them, but that they hadn't been dusted for days - which sort of distracted from their purpose.

Both the motorbike and push bike were spotless today (although there was a little pool of oil under the motorbike). Maybe Grayson has been taking them out on the road after the exhibition closes in the evening.

He's got a dutch bike - often seen pootling around town on it. The still life was interesting with the amount of mechanical detritus.
