Gravitational lensing

Example of gravitational lensing, two galaxies in the centre are bending light around then. So instead of seeing 6 galaxies, there's only 3 galaxies, 2 front and the 3rd spread around the centre galaxies.

I don't know how accurate this site is, it claims that 3rd galaxy contains a single quasar known as 2M1310-1714 and is 17.1 billion light years way.

The quasar scene we see is actually 10.4 billion years ago, because it takes 10.4 billion years for the light it emits to reach the earth. In the process of these photons traveling to the earth, due to the expansion of space, this quasar kept moving away from us, and has now receded to 17.1 billion light-years away.
