Grand Theft Auto: Online?

Leading on from this thread (where me and Garf as usual enthuse about playing GTA online), what would GTA online be like? How would it work, how cool would it be?!

no you wouldn't however it would be diffcult becuase of the disaplines however i like the concpets that actually you'd get massive multiplayer neviroments like WoW but where you could in effect team up and get into cars with others driving etc form gangs (guilds etc) and have turf wars watchig out for cos and the like go on missions (quests etc) find hidden stuff have mayhem missions (like dungeons etc) you could have different player types some of whom were better at say light machine guns and some with more heavery artillery some better on bikes some in cars some in boats some in planes so that different gangs woudl need different skills etc...

not sure how getting capped and loosing all your stuff works out however although in the vice citty stories they have finally worked out that paying a bribe to have it returned no matter how expensive is actually quicker than a reload...

gettign busted would be a pain althoguh dresing up as cops and busting others to rob them would be bad ass (bit like true crime new york only not limited by stylistics)

you could create your own uploadable radio stations etc

you could create your own outfits.

You could scan your own face in and warp it to fit on the charecture the only reason this didn't previously work was they eye toy was shite and people didn'y have digital images of themselves... now nearly every one has access to a digital camera...

should deffinatley be cross platform not seperate for ps3 eggsboss freesuxteee and wii so that gamers can mod and add on hard ware apps for their consoles (can oyu imagine the length console makers would go to to reasle newer better addons with this type of commercail cash cow like Wow...
