Graduation 2007!

Aye I graduate this year, canterbury cathedral here i come!

Only now the lure of the masters is kicking in, no time soon though, can't afford it!

Loved every moment of the last 3 years, i've learnt so much about so many things...the ceremony isn't overly exciting for me mind as all my mates graduate on different days, but it will be an end of an era!

Worth looking like a spanner for a few hours

Aye, it's occured to me. Found myself cacking bricks at the concept though, so am trying hard to ignore it.

I felt some camaraderie, it was a lot of fun seeing everyone with their parents in tow and trying very hard to behave like mature adults, and it was the last time I saw a lot of my year group.

Poignant, funny, a little melancholy, and a day out for proud parents. Kind of lovely, really.

I was really not looking forward to mine, i always thought i hated symbolic tradition - i had the degree so why bother with the rest?
In the end i had a really good day seeing people i hadnt seen for a couple of months, actually enjoyed dressing up and felt like i gave something back to my folks who had supported me throughout.
So to all graduating this year, have a good one
