Got my free copy of Vista through (premium) today. Should I bother?

personally i pref the harded firewall and router options myself... machine based firewalls are only for lame shit when browsing they won't do dick about a concentraited attack on to a system... never have never will....

vistas shit wait for sp1 possibly sp2 however grab the free copy now just don't install it till sp1 comes out, seriously you'll be doing yourself down if you do...

Why am I doing myself down? I used XP for years and upgraded to Vista Ultimate as soon as I could and it's been fine, no problems at all.

I can't really tell that much difference from XP tbh, ok the interface is different but apart from that as far as working with it on a day to day basis goes there's not much difference.

it's an untested thing which has minimum drivers if it runs for you then you are lucky but a lot of people can't run it.

for all the reasons which have been stated previously.
