Health has improved, despite what the media, the tories, and many medics will tell you.
Eg - 18 week waits for an op instead of 18 months. People don't die on the waiting list as a matter of course any more. People stay in beds, on wards now, not on trolleys in corridors. Massive investment in equipment and estate has produced improved clinical outcomes.
The system is deeply, deeply flawed, and riddled with the most insane beaurocracy I've seen in my life, but it's still better than it was.
