Google street view now covers Brixton

Lambeth Country Fair is on around the Herne Hill side of Brockwell park so that narrows it down to the 19th July last year or nearabouts

Different bits will be different dates anyway. You can tell because sometimes the weather changes as you go down a road :)

This is just mad, walking around Brixton with the sun out :) Good for us ex-pats .

...my old punchbag is sitting outside my mums, a mate's mum is just going down the shops. I've just walked from Tulse Hill to Brixton, I think I'll carry on to Camberwell.

They've put Amsterdam up too, my daughter was born in this flat, which is all being done up now:

My car has all my Glastonbury junk in it still in the pic. Also, you can see my flatmate at the window :D

Have flash installed on your computer, then drag the little orange man onto the map. he sits on top of the zoom control on the left.

If you zoom all the way out to see all of Britain you can see which cities are featured when you drag the little man. Cardif and Swansea are in there.

I wonder if google are going to keep the old data each time they update street view. Because it'd be quite cool, in fifty or a hundred years' time, to be able to have a wander around early 21st century London.

This is Google we're talking about - I can't imagine them not keeping it. Now that would be a headline - "Google actually deletes data!" :)
Whether it's available to the public is another question, of course... probably a premium service.
