Goofs On Film

Apparentaly in Braveheart you can see a train going by in the background. One of the boys tried explaining this to us and another fella goes "aye dat was thomas the tank engine". HILARIOUS! :)

The other good one in 'Braveheart' is when they're facing the English heavy cavalry at the Battle of Stirling Bridge and they use long wooden spears to fend them off. Owing to a monumentally dodgy bit of editing the spears seem to be raised and lowered at least two or three times BEFORE Wallace actually gives the order to raise them.

A slight editing fail there, methinks.

Knowing a reasonable amount about Muay Thai, 'Kickboxer', while not the most realistic portrayal of kickboxing ever filmed, isn't entirely devoid of realism.

The practice of fighting with hands wrapped in hemp and then dipped in resin and broken glass was devised by Buddhist monks as a form of exercise, and I'm told, is still practiced in some areas of southern Thailand to this day.

What's an especially ugly thought is that low blows were considered legal techniques.

The the Godfather Part 1, there's a scene early on where Tom Hagen is standing in a doorway. An extra walks past, looks through the door, sees she's accidentally walked into a scene, does an "Oh fuck!" face and ducks back out again. It makes me laugh every time.
