you want to be entertained, go watch the harlem globetrotters, is what they do sport or entertainment?

real sport is about the competition between two sides, it's more competitive if the sides are equally matched, watching a side trounce another 10-0, isn't entertaining...

He has got as near to winning something as just about anyone since 66. And I am almost certain that this summer we are going to win it.

I think we got as near in the 96 championship and we played good football.

I hate to hark on it, but it is only a decade ago, the team has not changed that much, if anything they have more experience now. We played good football, and we won matches. it is a fine of example of how the England team should be. We have the players, we aren't some two bit team with mediocre players, we have some of the best players in the world in their respective slots, and we can't play good football?

I don't deny he has a good record, but have you seriously enjoyed watching England get Sven's record? I certainly haven't and I know a lot of people who haven't.

Half the time I sit watching the England team angry at the display they are putting on when we know they are better then that.

Well of course people would, because there is no reason you can't play good football and win.

The point is, I don't believe bringing up a record, where we have actually won...absolutely nothing. And saying, oh but we didn't lose a lot of games. Justifies the rubbish football that England have played consistently for too long. Show me the Cup or the Title we hold because of the rubbish football we have had to endure? So this idea that its ok to play rubbish as long as you gets results, is misleading, cause Sven hasn't got any results.

sorry, which other manager since Alf has that much of a Better record than Sven?
grandad and el tel had FAIRLY good records - but won nothing.
And I don't think Sven plays 'shitty' football - i thought we were quite good over the past year or so (witht he odd blip).
