AS for the League placings, lets not get technical about the Champions League, Everton and Manchester United DID NOT win the chance to play in the competition proper, merely a chance thru a qualifying game. A bit of variety more like. lets bring on some substitutes and just bang it up the middle or from the sides of we manage to string more than three passes together. Didn't Craig Bellamy, who woyuld have bought tht bit of variety, turn you down? For Blackburn?

I really hope Moyes stays at that shite heap for a long time to come. His transfer dealings aside, he is tactically inept - you're at home in the CL against a better team, you've got one chance to out-muscle them and take a lead into the second leg. So what does he do? Plays one up front. Genius. They're playing 4-4-2, so the midfield was never going to be over-run, yet he puts Beattie up front on his own - ok, he managed to nick one, but seeing as how they got two, Everton had no chance.
