Good Job but heavy travel

Sounds like a right bastard of a trip. And it's not like there is anything really there when you get to Wimbledon. I commuted once for a job from Coruch End to South Kensington and it took at least an hour, but there were often delays and it just took one small thing for my entire journey to be ruined and arriving 30 minutes late instead of 15 minutes early. I say either move closer to Wimbledon or get a presciption for downers so the journey is slightly more tolerable.

Oswestry to Solihull I had to look up - 78 miles! :(

I used to do a similar commute - Bradford-on-Avon (wiltshire) to St Athan (near Barry, S Wales). And yes, it involved the Severn bridge and a lot of M4. I loved the job but the commute was a bastard. I feel your pain, I really do.

Now I'm home to work in under an hour (but still involving a severn bridge:() and it feels good:cool:

does it seem worth it?

$1,000,000 question now:

Imagine it is now late December.
It has been snowing overnight and your alarm clock goes off at fifteen minutes to some ridiculously early hour of the morning.
It is pitch black outside.
You're still tired from the commute home last night.

Are you still looking forward to getting to work because you really love what you do and the people around you are sound and the pay is still okay?

If so, take the job, you've passed the test.

If not...:p
