By that logic we're more pea than human also. Chance is a wonderful thing if you give it enough goes to work out good.

Eh? No we're not. The human genome contains entire virus genomes which have invaded our cells over hundreds of thousands of years and integrated themselves into our DNA. Peas very very very rarely pull off the same trick, being rather less adept than viruses at invading cells.
