I'm reading that as well. Duran seems like a complex soul, and animal in the ring (and sometimes outside it) and yet curiously warm and generous at other times.

Still got the shit kicked out of him by Tommy 'The Hitman' Hearns, though. I'd love to find a biography of Hearns if there is one.
