Good and bad things about packing for a move

Don't move it to London, and don't move the docking station either... chuck em out ;) there'll be more room in your room in London for clothes :)

Good thing: You tend to find things you thought you didnt have anymore or had lost!!

Last week I found my beloved DM boots (bought while a: they were still made in England and b: less that £70 a pair) whilst I was looking through a box of stuff yet to be unpacked.

I think Betty MacDonald (The Egg and I) wrote the definitive description of moving in her novel 'Onions in the Stew'

it begins with something like '.....then I began to run out of the same thing to pack boxes with, also out of boxes, patience and time'...... it continues with dire descriptions of journey, teens, husnband, pets, removal men, first day in the new home etc etc etc.

HILARIOUS - but not if you're moving. :(
