"Going to get some lunch, wanna come?"

next time they ask, why don't you just ask them to get you lunch instead cos you're busy working at your desk.
they'd probably leave you alone after.

:mad:

I'm with Filter - just naff off and let me be grumpy, ta.

Having worked here for 4 & 1/2 years I've got my colleagues well trained, they know the score. Lunch is "me" time, a few precious moments when I get to spill my homemade tuna salad over my keyboard reading bbc news before having to resume my usual air of contrived professional pleasantness.

So just fuck off, alright? :mad:

Monday = Sandwich at desk
Tuesday = Sandwich at desk
Wednesday = Sandwich at desk
Thursday = Sandwich at desk

Friday = Extended liquid lunch with my fine colleague to discuss the shitness of life

Bang on Chris, I hate going for lunch with my collegues all they do is turn it into a lunchtime meeting by talking shop :( today I brought a paper, lunchtime came and I sneak off to the canteen for a chilax, 5 mins later over comes my boss, "do you mind if I sit here", so then I have to put my paper away and listen to him rant on, then his boss comes over and its shop, shop, shop .... ffs ... in the end I went to the pub accross the road and there was works leaving do going on.... :mad:

In the end I rolled a small spliff and went for walk around the park :D

I think people are being harsh on chrisfilter, remember he works for an IT company and would have to have spent his lunchtime feigning interest on subjects like why x router is better than y router etc etc from someone who still lives with their mum.

x router's much better at packet filtering than y router, although y router does have good VPN support, but you what you really want is z router - let me show you some comparative stats I downloaded off the web...
