Is that Bob Jones University? That's the 'university' that forbids 'interracial dating' but denies that its policy is racist. I think BJU may be accredited.

I think its still not accredited (it wasnt when I used to work in University Admissions) though some of their degrees were to a very high standard. I think they may have dumped the no interracial dating rule a few years back because of the bad press they received.

I've been thinking about this a bit recently - that was a fairly disturbing program.

I used to just go along with the thing "the love of money is the root of all evil". Now I'm not so sure - now I think Groupthink is the root of all evil. Where groups of people are so blinded by "belief" that they can't see what's right in front of their faces.

Those "Christians" in that program were a classic case - they pray and discuss and sit around singing songs to Jesus - then go up to Congress to actively lobby for things that are the diametric opposite of what Jesus taught.

Christianity has been cynically co-opted by right-wing extremists.

I meant phc wasnt accredited, though last i heard bju wasnt either (regionally accredited, Its probably accredited by the transnational associaton of fucking nutters or whatever its called,) might be now though.

I think they lifted the interracial policy, possibly because it meant they werent given tax breaks afforded to proper places of education, there was a whole court case inolving the irs iirc.
