Urban Meet at Glasto

there should be :)

There always is ... usual deal is to meet opposite the Cider Bus :D , 8 pm, both the Wednesday and the Thursday.

Also beesonthewhatnow (see main Glasto thread in music) usually runs a mailing list to keep Urbanites informed of stuff ... :)

All this to be confirmed/clarified later ...

I have stopped sitting on the fence and made a decision to try for a ticket...just been lying in bed try to sleep (night shift) and could not as I suffered an extreme attack of Glasto excitement bubbles....2 mates get married on June 16th and they hoping to come as a sort of honeymoon :) Im thinking they can get married again at Glasto...and I could be a bridesmaid....yay ! I think the thought of sleeping in tent was making me think I did not want to go....and lugging my gear up to Pennard Hill. Going to look into a shopping trolley....:D Oh and lovely cider....I only started drinking this at Glasto 2 years back....don't like the hot stuff though...

Get a grip woman... no ones forcing you to sleep :D

I can understand the treck being a bit of a task though. A trolley is a good plan, but make sure it's got decent wheels on it! Small wheels can be bad enough on the metal drags, but (not that it will be) if the ground is 'a little damp' they can be a nightmare.

I'll be there with Oxfam, hoping for early shifts too.

Feels really nice to know that I can have a lie in on Sunday. ;)

i am having a ticket party tomorrow round my friend's house, lots of laptops and phones and wine for celebrations or comisserations.

Don't have a group of friends to go with :( so thinking of giving it a miss to head out to the opening of the mtb season in Les Alps :)

Crap. I've just realised my number's registered with my work email (I thought I'd forwarded it to my hotmail), and I've no way of getting it :(

Bugger. I'll have to make do with Reading and V :/

Good luck everyone hoping for tickets. Not going to make it this year. If I get one festival this year, I shall be grateful.

I think Glastonbury must be getting better each year. Every year more moany, negative, unlucky people don't get a ticket clearing the way for everyone else ;)

Woo hoo. This will be my first fully Urban Glasto. (I hope:( )

Never been (despite being offered free tickets on a number of occasions over the years), can't see I will any time soon either, just don't see the draw tbh...

I feel a bit sick and I've got a ticket but I need you there. xx

Vanessa is one of the poor fuckers that didn't get paid so she had to beg for a sub so she could pay the money into her boyfs bank.

Good luck everybody, it will be fine.

Aaaaaah, just spoke to madamv, getting all the reference numbers ready and stuff. About to get dressed and realised that I only have 2 cigarettes left. Now I'm not a heavy smoker but this could be stressful.:(

Yesssss!!

Sneaked in under the "residents ticket" thingy, well I do only live 5 miles away from the site so I am a resident.

More chuffed for my sister who is a Glasto fanatic, been 15-20 times over the years and was gutted a few years ago when she turned 40, went to Aus for a holiday and left me with the "simple instructions of all you've got to do is get 2 tickets for Glasto" and it was the first year of the wall and no-one could get tickets.

This is payback to her.
