Tonight northern presenter bloke was saying how he'd seen the Blockheads playing with Phil Jupitas singing, which sounds like a cracking gig- which probably explains why there's not a hint of any coverage of it...

Well I enjoyed the coverage so far. Thought the ting tings were excellent, and enjoyed seeing Kate Nash's clam.
Have they found a way of filming in the future. During some of the performances as it was getting dark, it looked darker there than it did out of my window.
Turned over to catch the end of the Mandela concert and really enjoyed the Winehouse led finale - quite moving.

init. To me that and The Verve being announced as the headliners showed what a shit line-up it was far more than Jay-Z.

The Gossip and Estelle were great, but otherwise I think this is the worst Glasto for quite a while. I'd be really annoyed if I'd spent all that money to go. If they released the billing before tickets would there be so much demand with this dross?

based on what the BBC have shown it looks pretty poor but looking at the complete line-up (and I mean ALL the stages) I think it's still pretty fantastic.

I can't stand live music coverage on TV, the cameras all over the place and the quick flashing from one image to another, to the drummer to the guitarists crotch, to the audience. Its nothing like watching a band. I usually manage to stay roughly in one place when watching a real concert. I end up turning up the sound and listening from the other room if it is a band I want to hear on the TV.
