I think a lot of people have been worrying (even just in the back of their heads) about getting a ticket since the end of Glasto 2003

And is anyone else having the problem of calling Glasto 2003 "last year" and Glasto 2004 "this year"?

My Car Failed it's MOT yesterday!

The reason
1) The Maori bone carving, Kali beads and jade greenstone hanging from the rear view mirror for 'protection' - don't laugh, it's worked so far. (easily rectified)
2) The Glastonbury car park sticker still on the windscreen from last year.(it's proving a bitch to get off)
My 2002 sticker was removed with the windscreen of my old car when it was scrapped so I'd no idea this could fail you on an MOT test and although the retest is free, I've got to waste an hour going back to the garage now and getting another test.
I'm slowly scraping it off with my thumbnail but I'd be interested to know if anyone had any Viz-like Top Tips for removing said stoicker and if anyone else had become an MOT failure because of this?

nail varnish remover can sometimes do the trick or lighter fuel - or sometimes it just smears the sticky stuff all over the windscreen
