I know... that's a schizo change if ever the was one.

Pennards I think of as Clapham... Residentially absolutely massive, not as convenient for the centre as it seems, and everyone who lives there is of a 'certain age'.

(I mention this to William, and he reckoned that by that kind analogy, Dragon was Brixton. Spot on I thought. )

Well no not really, I've got a small tent to pitch wherever I like - I'm gonna roam around park area and hopefully meet a decent bunch of people that don't mind me pitching near/with them, on the premise that I'm a single guy not gonna be causing any mither but fancies a few late nights... I'll have my big tent in oxfield with my mates, I'll probably spend a good portion of my sleeping time there. BUT. Mrsjontz isn't comin this year, I always feel guilty tucking her in at 2am then going off wandering till 6 or 8...

I've got groups of mates pitched up all over the site so I was gonna carry a lightweight small sleeping bag in my rucksack if I go out for a mission. That way I can crash hopefully somewhere not too far from wherever I may be!
To be honest, I've got another four or five mates workin with with oxfam so this IS all actually a pipe dream.

Actually as a crash space, given you've got crew camping in Big Lickle, something over the other side of the site makes more sense than Cockmill. Handy for the Park too, which (I think) has some vaguely late stuff going on.

Is there an accurate map for this years site?

Was gutted last year as my groups long standing camping spot (near the cinema) was changed into family camping, and I think its disability camping this year so we are at a bit of a loss as to where to go.

Ive always loved the chaos of Pennards but it was pretty bad for toilets when I camped there back in the day.

Socket, possibly with MyFests peeps at the Park camping (which is near as dammit Pennards) or with long-time Glastonbury posse mates in a campervan field, possibly both. Depends on the weather, how bothered I can be to climb the hill outside Pedestrian Gate 3, and much I've annoyed people on MyFests.
