It's very sad. Those wonderful interiors are apparently devastated. The fire started in a basement, it seems, and has spread throughout the whole building.

Reports from the scene say the library has gone.

It might seem minor compared to the loss of the interiors and potential danger to life, but I,m thinking about all the work lost too - everyone so close to their final shows :(

A very sad loss. I wonder what archives were also stored in the building. As it is an important building I would imagine they will want to restore it. Fingers crossed it is repaired to its former glory.

i hope the plans for the building weren't in the school of art archives, as they might very well have been.

Friend of mine has just posted on facebook saying he drove past 15 mins ago and there's still flames coming out of the roof.

Went past it earlier, pretty clearly gutted the inside of that building.
