but nothing's certain and can't be, that far ahead.

They are letting nobody on-site at this time, Thatcham station is CLOSED. I'm coming home now, no point in staying"
I can - if the site is deemed to be unsafe, and the forecasts don't show signs of an improvement they won't have a great deal of choice in the matter.firky said:Can't see them pulling the plug (nice iteration) on the whole event myself.

FAR too far away from now to be sure.
We don't even know too clearly what's likely to happen at WOMAD yet, and that's next weekend.
Some longer term models show a marked improvment around early August time, according to my geeky weather site's expertsbut nothing's certain and can't be, that far ahead.
BAD LUCK to the Glade people![]()

Overkill is the only worthwhile one of the lot though.Orang Utan said:Just seen this on another forum:
Milanese just posted on the dubstep forum:
"Just to clarify, it looks like the festival is going ahead even though some of the entry gates are closed at the moment.
But the Overkill tent is cancelled due to being hit the worst, currently its unsafe in there. If I get a call saying its back on i'll post again. Sorry to all the punters who were looking forward to Overkill, i'm totally gutted."
