Unless I'm mistaken, they're using a picture of Glastonbury for that flyer. :)

I can only assume they've booked Arcadia, whose kit that is.

e2a... a quick bit of googling and it does sound like Arcadia will be there. Bloody marvellous that lot. I think they'll have a busy season this year.

i will be, when i get round to actually filling in my application :o

hope you read the "stewarding for oxfam" thread for pointers about what not to do ;)

nope....

ive stewarded with another company before....

basically dont turn up minced yeah?

Got my ticket!

I'm seeing a lot of sponsorship on the Glade site, is the fest gonna be the same ad-free one it's been in the past? I think that really adds to the vibe.

They are not adverts, they are links to Glades 'media presence' on those outlets, like

Glades Facebook group.
Same with its myspace page, its twitter page and so on..... unless you are seeing different adverts to me.

I'm a bit concerned about the night shift thing - do you get to do it with someone else?
I've done shifts on my own and with others. Worst is being stuck down some lane checking wrist-bands. Not as bad is checking wrist-bands at a market entrance, at least you can see the festival around you. Best is FOH at the stages.

Depends, though they try and avoid lone working if possible. If you are on your own you should have a radio.

If you're lucky a bloke comes round with hot drinks for you ;)

I'm concerned about staying awake :o I was thinking at least if there's someone with you, you can chat and stuff.

yeah, i might as well be productive.

£175 down though. would have been cheaper to go out, throw gin down my neck all night and call in sick tomorrow :hmm:

I'm sort of sulking about the loss of the beautiful wasing estate site so I'm going to sit this one out and let some others road test the site.

Beautiful days and glade were about equally awesome IMO last year so I'm going to give BD another chance this year cos I've done glade quite a few times already

Have fun everyone (especially oxfam stewards) and don't forget to report back on the new site

I do love wasing, but we've now got an entire new site to explore and play in, which is the way I'm looking at it... kinda worried, but excited too:cool:

See you at Escot then matey :)

Glade is really too much of a danceathon for us, but I hope everyone has a blast, enjoys the new site and is blessed with good weather
